We got the photos of the Teacup Sample Plush. Both the Athena and Nyx need a lot of work. I am not happy with how the first round of sample plush for these two came out at all. 

I was measuring the Eudora Teacup size prototype the other day and had discovered the scale was off on them. They had made Eudora 5 inches tall from top of the ears to the bottom of the feet, instead of what I originally put. Which was 5 inches from top of head to bottom of the feet. The ears aren't included in the overall height. So I made sure to reiterate that.

Below is all the notes I made regarding changes. I'm really hoping they can get them closer to being how I envision them.

Thankfully the weighted plush version of Nyx only needed some minor revisions. Like the ear position changed. Tail made a little longer. And then the embroidery on the front claws and toe beans changed to black. We should have an update on her in the next 15 or so days.

We finally got photos of version 1 of Nyx! Overall I think she looks pretty spot on.

However there are a few changes needed:

The embroidery on her front claws and her toe beans need changed to black. I had to explain that yes, they will be hard to see. But the point is more texture then being able to see them since she is a Void creature.

Her ears also need moved up to sit higher on her head a bit.

I'm also debating slightly longer tail? Do you guys think it needs to be longer?

The front claws also look a lot closer to the artwork and how I imagined them now. I am waiting on closer up photos and video of them though. So I can see if they do need any changes or not.

The stickers for the campaign have been ordered. I will share photos of those once they come in. 

I'm really hoping this trade war calms down by the time the Terragryffs are ready to come home. The situation seems to change daily. Since we are still in the prototype phase and production will take a couple months, we have time to see what happens with all of the current stuff going on. Again hoping it changes in small businesses favor. If not, we will figure out what to do when the time comes. 

I'm possibly thinking of offering custom Teacup Terragryffs. Cost would likely be around $300 plus shipping. This would include design work by me to make your vision come to life, and up to two revisions from the factory.

These custom commissions would help fund future Teacup Terragryff sample plush.

So please vote in the poll and if there is enough interest I will open up some commission slots for these. 

Still waiting on the photos from the factory. My guess is likely sometime this week, since I didn't get any updates before this weekend. 

I'm really excited to see the photos. Hoping we won't have to do too many revisions to them.

I won't be vending these cons, just attending. I will likely be bringing the weighted Athena and Teacup Eudora prototypes with me if anyone wants to see them in person.

I should be pretty easy to find, as I will be in my purple wheelchair being a handler for Warble the Crow Wizard at both events. He is a 6 foot tall giant crow who caws at people a lot...and if you give him shinies he will give you a worm. 

Please fill out your survey ASAP. We will be locking surveys at the end of March. We currently have about 22 surveys that haven't been filled out. 

We should have our first look at the Weighted Nyx, and Teacup Athena and Nyx plush in about a week-ish. 
I can't wait to see how they look. Hoping we there won't need to be too many revisions.

On the note of prototypes, I'm going to be working on concept art for a Terragryff size in between the giant weighted and the tiny teacups. Thinking more actual kitten sized, more on the realistic looking front. I'm also hoping to make them where they will be able to be sorta floppy, but you can make them lay down, sit or stand up. These would also feature the faux fur like the weighted ones.  So more news on these once I get the concept art figured out, as well as a prototype in progress for a future backerkit campaign later this year.
