We are just one week away from Wyldefell Woods launching here on Backerkit! We are so excited and can't wait to bring all of the Terragryffs to life in plush form!! 

With that said we did get updated sample plush photos in. The plush still need some tweaks, but we are going to be having them shipped to us in their current state. So we have them to take our own photos during the campaign, as well as show off at Mythicon and Katsucon next month. 

Our manu will be closed during most of the campaign time for Chinese New Years, so we will resume prototyping the plush after the campaign ends. (I'm a year of the snake baby too.)

I will let everyone know once the samples arrive to me. I will def be doing a photoshoot and some videos to show them off. And let you all know what changes still need made to them other than what I can see from the photos. 

Athena is looking much better this time around. Her front legs are the correct color. And again she looks soooo soft. I can't wait to see her and pet her in person. 

Her ears are now in the correct position as well. I think I still want to tweak her beak a bit more. And I'm not set on her eyes just yet. What do you all think of her eyes?

I also still want to change the front claws, they are a bit closer to what I was trying to convey. But still not exactly right. 

Eudora is looking good overall. I think her tail might need to be a bit chonkier. Once I have her in person I can determine if any other changes are needed. 

Whimsy is looking better from the first sample. They got the outer leg colors correct this time, but the inner back legs colors need swapped to match the  outer back leg colors. And like I said with Eudora, she needs a chonkier tail. Length for the tails are right, but needs more chonk.

We are still a few days away from getting new photos of the sample plush. Here is to hoping the samples turn out well and I can get them shipped out to me before the factories go on break for their upcoming holiday period. 

Our first two guest pins are by the amazing HappyFoxx!  

Both pins will be 2.5 inches hard enamel pins. The Whimsy pin will have gold pearl enamel in the stars! 

If you back in the first 48 hours of the campaign you will receive a 3inch vinyl sticker of Whimsy. The stars will be glittery! 

And any backers who have backed any of my previous BackerKit campaigns will receive a 3inch sticker of Eudora! 

Our poll for possible Terragryff accessories ends in just a few days, don't forgot to vote! 

Also in our Discord it was asked if there would be any accessories for the Teacup sized Terragryffs. I'm going to look into that as a possibility, as it would be really cute for them to have a vest/harness to turn them into keychain plush.

Only two weeks left until we launch!

It's looking like I should get an update on the Athena sample plush next week. And then the Eudora and Whimsy Teacup plush shortly after that, though likely closer to launch day.

I had a few ideas for possible accessories for the large weighted plush and wanted to see what all you guys would be interested in.

My first idea is a service vest with a patch that says "Emotional Support Terragryff" on it. Or have a spot to switch out velcro patches.

Or would you just prefer bandanas or a collar option? 

I'm also open to any other ideas for them as well.

We should receive the next round of sample plush photos right before or right around when the campaign launches. I'm super hoping my notes/revisions made sense and that the samples come out well enough that I can have them sent to me. 

I will keep everyone updated on their progress as soon as I hear more! 

Our partner for cross collab this time is McMadmissile and their project "My Cryptid Crush". We are doing a 2.5 inch enamel pin featuring a character from each of our campaigns. You can get this pin for free if you back both of our campaigns!

Eudora came out almost perfect to my concept art. For changes to her I'm thinking a slightly larger tail. And then a grey thread that matches her feet color for the thread sculpting on her back feet. Maybe slightly larger ears as well. But I'm pretty happy with how her first sample came out otherwise. 

Whimsy on the other hand needs a lot of work. I'm going to have them redo her body to be like Eudora's, as for some reason you can see the seam lines for her legs instead of the single body side piece like Eudora has. And her head shape needs adjusted as well. And her tail needs to be more question mark shaped. Also they did both her dark purple legs on the same side, they are supposed to be opposite. Her body was also supposed to be printed fabric like Eudora has but it doesn't look like it is in this version. 

So yea, some revisions and then hopefully they will be good to go. 

Athena looks so soft! Her colors look great. However her front legs need to be changed to the brown. And I want to change how her front claws look. So I will be working on a new claw pattern to send the manu to use.

I also want them to widen her belly gusset so her front legs aren't so close together, she needs a slightly longer neck as well. I'm also going to have them move the ear placement up a bit so they sit higher on her head. I also want to rework her beak shape a bit. 

And a question for you all do you think she should have larger eyes? The most recent Athena plush I made myself has 30mm sized eyes. Or should I have them shrink the pupil size to show more of the green?
